We receive phone calls & emails every week from potential clients looking for help with a project but do not have a good handle on a reasonable timeline or how long the design process can actually take. Trust that your interior designer can be very useful in the very beginning planning stages to set expectations & help create the vision for your family as we wait together.

Design process

Good planning takes time! The beginning planning process on any size job can easily take up to 2-3 months to meet with us, make selections, make modifications to selections, create a budget & quote all moving parts of each job, and keep dreaming together before we even place our first order!

On larger new house construction or renovation projects, we are in it for the long haul, call us up to 1 year+ before you break ground…yes you read that right! We love to be involved in the space planning & floor plan layout process to make sure your floor plans reflect the furniture you currently own (or new) & how your family plans to live in each space. We help you visualize the look & feel of each space at the same time so your vision is actually built in the end. Rather than waiting for your house to be built, then trying to make it yours. Let us help you from the very beginning!

We are seeing delays (as you have most likely experienced in some aspect of life right now) on the materials & products we spec each & every day. Just one more reason to let us help you come up with the overall plan & design vision before starting any major construction or renovation project….or it will literally drag on forever without that feeling of accomplishment (we need that feeling too!).
